Have you tried the www.sba.gov/ ? Also ask your city planning commision if they have a grant writer available to talk to you. woman minority have the best chance in getting a grant to start a business with. Good luck God bless.
Have you tried the small business administration. Also I knew a man who wrote letters for grants for small businesses, and you said you are a monority and a woman, those two characteristics will get you a grant! Find the planning commision where you live and ask if they have a grant writer. Also find the sba office for where you live and make an appointment and they will get you started. If I were you I would take any job, I mean any like just whatever you can find and start making money and start asking around and looking for a cheap place to live, cut my expensives down as low as possible. You did not mention children or none at home. If you are alone I would like I said get a small place and take any job sweetie to make some money and then work on getting another vehichle that is cheaper on gas. You don't need a man to take care of you. I think you can take care of yourself, you just are now learning how. Unless you are fortunate and find a decent man, men can make your problems worse right now. You need to concentrate on yourself for awhile, sounds like you deserve it. You sound like a smart woman you just need to believe in yourself. I would also possible look into moving out of that area and move into a more populated place where the job market is bigger and better. There are alot of jobs that you do not need any trianing for. Also some jobs will train you. Call centers for instance will train you for several weeks with pay to work for them. These type of jobs will give you the experience to carry with you if you want to move on. Keep your chin up and if you are a believer than pray. God bless you.
I am going to pray for you and your son. I too have lost loved ones. MY mother, my granmother, my grandfather. Everyone left on my mothers side of the family. My only blood family. I never knew my biological father. They are all gone. I too have and still do have financial struggles. I have learned that as crazy as it sounds when you are about to loose everything you have worked for and own, take no heed for tomorrow. I know , its sound unlogical and not the answer you are looking for. Take no heed for what you will wear, what you will eat. Ask God to provide, just be willing to take what he provides. Sometimes we are looking for something we think is the answer, when he has provided us with his answer for the moment. I have learned to humble myself and remember that he is GOD. I try to look at the most obvious. I have found that an answer is right in front of me. I have even waited and worried and the answer was right there. Take a step back and pray once again and go in and take another look. God bless you.
I will pray for you and your kids. If I were you I would do everything possible, call every place, call on my friends and don't stop until you have no stone unturned. God works through other people I truley believe so start calling and asking. Can you home school in your state? If it is the social security that is cutting your check because she is not in public school , thats against the law. If you can homeschool in your state send the required letter to the school district. Homeschooling has to be recognized by the us government, and most state offices of welfare. Look for an advocacy group in your state or hometown or nearby to help you since you are disabled. You may have to cut your loses and move on. Instead of putting money on things that will not be enough stop paying the rent and get another cheaper place and work out payment arrangements with the untility companies. You are disabled ask the utility companies thier rule on disconnect with a disabled customer. I would cut my loses and move on as fast as possible. I have been homeless and I asked friends to let us stay with them. I had to humble down and get help. Sometimes the Lord has help for us we just can't see the forest for the trees. I would look into pawning something to get money for food. Also ask the welfare office for a list of free food giveaways. Also go into any church and tell them of your need and ask for help. Most all churches will help you. I am and have been where you are at and I found these places to help and keep us going. May God bless you .
Just a offer of a useful tip, not to offend you or your daughters in anyway, I have a 13 yr old daughter is is very style concious. Believe it or not we found clothing still in dry cleaning bags in the dumpster. My daughter flipped out when she saw the brand names. We find clothing and shoes all the time in dumpsters. The clothing is usually in big trash bags tied up. We check after a weekend when people have had garage sales, or cleaned out thier garage or home. While you are waiting on assistance you and your girls might have fun dumpster diving for clothing. It was strange at first to us then we got to where it feels like christmas cause we never know what we might find. Good luck and God bless you and your girls.
I can relate totally. I will pray for your family. What I wrote in my blog is just a tiny sample of what my children and I have made it through. You sound like you have not given up and that is good. I would call the local city office you live in and ask for the code enforcement department. They will come out and look at your sewage and mold. You can look up on the internet the housing laws for your state. It illegal for raw sewage to be coming into your home. Your landlord is responsible for paying for you to stay somewhere until the house meets code . You may even qualify for emergency houseing due to the sewage and the mold. Raw sewage is deadly. Call the health department immediatly. You and your children need to be checked at the hospital for dysentery and shigella. Being exposed to raw sewage is life threatening. Flu- like symptoms are signs of both of these infectious diseases. I cannot stress enough that you need to call the health department immediatly . They will come out to your home. This landlord will be in alot of trouble. In the meanwhile go the the hospital or your doctor asap and get tested. Tell the doctor what is going on. Children can dehydrate very quickly and if they have contracted shigella they need immediate medical attention. I am not trying to scare you but just inform you. I got shigella from a salad bar at a resturant and nearly died. I thought I had the flu. Shigella is when you have ingested feces from another person. Raw sewage will give someone shigella. I thought I had the flu. I went 10days untreated until I ended up in the intensive care unit. I lost 22 pounds in two weeks. I will pray that God gives you strength to stand up to thiis landlord, and wisdom to deal with this situation. I have been through things like this as well. Do what you have to do for your children and yourself, no one will do it but you. God bless.
I will pray for you . I understand completely. Have you been to court for an eviction yet? If not you still have some time. All I know to offer in advice is contact your welfare office and get help and get a list for resources for utility help and ask a friend if you and your daughter can stay with them for alittle while. I would offer to clean thier house and cook for them in return for a roof over my head. If you have no money at all or a job, you can usually get emergency foodstamps at your local welfare office.
